Papeterie

Papeterie sets a site out like a stationery suite on book cloth. Sections sit side by side in a mosaic, and each is printed on a different fine paper: cotton card resting on a second sheet, laid paper with its faint lines, hot-pressed card inside a gold-foil hairline, handmade paper with a soft deckle, translucent vellum, silk and velvet. The textures are faint, so they read as paper rather than decoration, and the palette tints every one. Headings are set in PP Eiko's light serif, eyebrows are written in Parisienne, and photographs are prints with a narrow white border.

How is Papeterie different from Tessellate?

Both arrange sections in a mosaic. Tessellate's tiles are glazed and rounded; Papeterie's are sheets of paper with square corners, layered and finished in foil.

Which color palette does Papeterie start with?

Blush. Sage and Noir keep the same papers and layout.

Can I choose which paper a section uses?

Yes. The section's palette picks it: muted is handmade paper, band is vellum, accent is silk and contrast is velvet. Default sections take turns between cotton card, laid paper and hot-pressed card.
