One room, one bar, no bad sightlines
The stage is a foot off the floor and the sound desk sits in the middle of the room, so the mix is the same at the back as it is at the front. There is no guest list and no VIP balcony, and tickets stay under twenty dollars.

The shop at the front
New releases on Fridays, used records priced by hand, and a wall of seven-inches from bands who have played the room.
We buy collections too. Bring them in on a weekday morning.
Most nights
Shows
Four or five nights a week, touring bands and local openers. Doors at eight unless the listing says otherwise.
Records
The shop opens at noon every day and closes when the first band goes on.
Private hire
The whole room for release shows, parties and screenings, Sunday to Wednesday.
Said after soundcheck
Best monitor mix we had all tour, and the crowd knew the words to the new ones.
